Newsletter 3 November 2019

Fr Craig’s Corner  With Charles’ resignation, my commitments to diocesan work have increased and one aspect of this, involves extra meetings in Palmerston North.  I will be away on Tuesday this week for meetings.  Also, it means that I cannot begin the Older Children’s Baptism programme as intended.  So, there will be no class on Tuesday evening and it may mean we run the programme early next year.  I apologise for this inconvenience, but right now I cannot do everything that needs to be done.  Thank you for your understanding.  November is the month of All Souls.  During this month, we will be praying for all our deceased loved ones.  You are welcome to add the names of your loved ones who have died, knowing that they will be prayed for all this month.  Very soon, we will begin preparing for Advent in our parish.  This season of grace helps us prepare for Christ’s coming at the end of time.  Please think and pray about how you can make the most of this time.  Lastly, please continue to pray for our diocese as we negotiate unfamiliar territory.  God bless, Craig
